The Clever Desk features a state-of-the-art Light Barrier system in the Clever Desk Nisso control box. This system can detect even the slightest obstruction, stopping the table from moving further towards the hazard. Additionally, the "drive back" function reverses the table a short distance after a collision is detected, allowing time and space to remove the obstacle. Light barrier systems are considered more effective than gyroscope-centered competitors.
